Thank you for supporting our farm and small business. Below, you will find our complete policies for ordering, shipping, cancellations, and more. These policies are in place to ensure smooth transactions and clear communication.
Please Note
Each listing is for a single tuber.
Dahlia tubers will begin shipping in April.
Once an order is placed, we are unable to add or subtract items. If you want any additional items not included in your original order, please place a new order. IF you place multiple orders, I will attempt to combine shipping and refund any unused portion of shipping costs; however, this is not guaranteed due to the number of orders received and simple human error. Again, if you place multiple orders that are to be shipped, I will try my best to combine orders, and refund shipping, but there is no promise or guarantee.
If there is unexpected stock loss, we will contact you to offer substitutions. If you do not want a substitution, we will refund your order.
We are only able to ship within the USA
Please examine your order immediately on arrival and contact me within 48 hours if you have a problem. After 5 days the buyer accepts full responsibility.
Shipping costs will be automatically calculated at checkout and are based on the following for the 2025 season:
1 to 3 tubers - $10.95
4 to 7 tubers - $14.95
8 + tubers - $18.95
Local Pickup
To pick up your order here at the farm please choose the porch pickup option at checkout. Orders will be processed in April. You will receive an email when your order is ready. The pick-up porch location will be listed on your order confirmation.
Our Guarantee
We guarantee that our dahlia tubers will grow and will be true to variety name, or your product will be replaced if stock allows, otherwise you will be refunded for the price of the tuber only; no shipping costs will be refunded. Please plant your dahlias after your USDA growing zone's last frost date, and follow the detailed growing instructions we include with your shipment. We are not responsible for weather issues, pest damage, or poor customer care. Note: Some tubers are coming out of cold storage and will not have sprouts when you receive them. We put a lot of care into diving our tubers and ensure each one has at least one viable eye. Please give them time to “wake up” before assuming they are not viable.
Order Placement & Customer Notifications
Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for ensuring all information is accurate. This includes your shipping address, contact details, and ordered items. Errors in your information could delay shipping or result in packages being sent to the wrong address. PLEASE double check your email address and zip code before finalizing your order.
Sale Notifications: Make sure you subscribe to our website, so you can be notified of when the sale starts – and future sales.
Cart Items Not Held: Items in your cart are not held. If you do not complete checkout and receive a confirmation email, your order has not been placed.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Order Changes: We cannot accommodate changes to existing orders. This includes swapping varieties, adding items, or altering quantities. Too many variables can lead to errors, so once an order is placed, it is final.
Combining Orders: IF you place multiple orders, I will attempt to combine shipping and refund any unused portion of shipping costs; however, this is not guaranteed due to the number of orders received and simple human error.
Cancellations: Cancellations are only allowed in extreme circumstances and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Please contact us with your reason for canceling, and we will review your request.
Examples of acceptable reasons: loss of home, severe illness, etc
Examples of unacceptable reasons: overspending or changing your mind.
Shipping Policies
Shipping Responsibility: Once we hand off your package to the carrier, we cannot be held responsible for delays, damage, or lost items. Please file claims directly with the carrier if these issues arise.
Tracking Information: Tracking details will be sent via email. Ensure your email address is accurate when placing your order. If no email is provided, we cannot send tracking updates.
Lost or Stolen Packages: If your package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, check with family members, neighbors, or others who may have received it. We are not liable for stolen or misplaced packages.
Weather Considerations: We are not responsible for damage caused by extreme heat or freezing temperatures during transit. We are not liable for any packages that freeze in transit or are left out overnight. We do our best to ship when the fear of frost has passed in our zone.
What to Expect from Our Tubers
Tubers may vary in size, shape, and appearance but are guaranteed to contain the DNA of the variety purchased.
Small or irregularly shaped tubers often grow just as vigorously as larger ones.
Minor blemishes, peeling skin, or bent necks do not typically affect a tuber’s viability.
Virus & Disease Policy
We thoroughly inspect all plants for signs of viruses or diseases. While we do not conduct lab testing on all our plants due to the high cost, we take every precaution to provide healthy stock.
If you suspect a plant has a virus, please contact us with photos and details. We will work with you to determine the cause and a resolution.
Note: Viruses can be introduced by pests or other environmental factors after leaving our farm.
